The grapes from the small vineyard in the Light Pass region of the Barossa Valley were hand picked early in the morning to preserve freshness.
The wine was carefully open fermented before matured for 18 months in French oak hogshead barrels.
Intense plum and dark blackberry characters, dark chocolate and some black pepper. Powerful but well integrated oak and a smooth finish.
